🇬🇧 Come!

A question:
– When Peter walked on water, did he have a bridge under his feet?
You answer:
– No, obviously!

So what made his footsteps firm over the waters?

Peter didn’t know if it was JESUS or not, walking on water at that moment. Then he boldly made a proposal, speaking from inside the boat:
– Lord, if it be Thou, bid me come unto Thee on the water.

JESUS responded to Peter’s courageous proposal and said:
– Come.

You can read the report of this great event in the Gospel according to Matthew 14:22-33.

It only took a Word from the mouth of the LORD of lords and Master of masters for Peter to do something that no other man has done until this day!

If you, like Peter, are unsure about something, just ask the One who can give you the answers and make you do tremendous and extraordinary things, for the Glory of His Name.

If you have doubts that JESUS CHRIST was already with GOD the FATHER before He came to earth, died to pay our debts for our sins, resurrected and is alive TODAY, simply talk to Him! Speak boldly, but respectfully. Ask for His Mighty Word.

Peter walked on water, not because he had something visible and palpable, like a bridge. He walked on water because he trusted the Word given by the LORD JESUS. Peter believed, obeyed and WAS! He WALKED ON WATER, with only a Word from the Sovereign Master!!

It was not money; it was not a potion or medicine; it was not a material or human resource that made Pedro experience the impossible.

He had NOTHING to stand on but the Word that was given to him! He had NOTHING that could accomplish that! The Word that he heard was enough! The Word was the bridge Peter needed to accomplish such a feat!

Maybe you don’t have anything right now that can make your dream come true. However, all it takes is a Word, a Promise that CHRIST makes to you and you believe, for it to come true!

In the same way, the LORD JESUS grants His Word so that It may be heard, answered. He did not say “Come” for nothing, so that Peter would later ignore it, not believing and turn his back. Not. He spoke to be heard, to be attended to.

Physics, Science, circumstances said that Peter could not walk on water. But he had a certain notion that, being JESUS speaking, Who has the Authority to command and EVERYTHING to obey, he trusted that His Word is above all on the face of this earth. It’s written:

[…] For all things [all parts of the universe] are Your servants.” (Psalms 119:91).

Believing in the Word of CHRIST, which is Sovereign, made Peter walk on water; made him live the supernatural!

When we believe the Word of CHRIST with all our hearts, no matter what the circumstances, then we see the Glory of GOD manifest! This is Faith: BELIEVING what the Word speaks to you and SEE it happen.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of CHRIST.” (Romans 10:17).

May we also ask the LORD JESUS for a Word about our situation, meditating on the Scriptures. And let us not be surprised, for doubtless He will call us to “walk on water,” that is, to BELIEVE His Word, above unfavorable circumstances; to BELIEVE, even in the face of what is difficult, improbable, unattainable or impossible!

For Peter, a Word was enough to overcome barriers and live the impossible for men.

May we live what we never imagined, to hear and answer the powerful call of the LORD of Glory, saying:

– Come!
